Huntingdon Registry Office Wedding Photographer | Sam & Kevin's Micro Wedding
How do you photograph a wedding when you’re not allowed in the room?
That was the case for Sam & Kevin's wedding at Huntingdon registry office.
I was there to photograph the good times but I wasn't allowed in to photograph the ceremony!
I had to photograph through the window!
So if you're like me; make use of the window and make a frame within a frame.
It really was one of those times when I was looking through my camera viewfinder and thinking 'yeah this is cool!'
Sam & Kevin’s wedding was a lovely little family affair; their parents joined them at the ceremony whilst the rest of the family were waiting back at Sam and Kevin‘s house.
After the ceremony we shot a few family photos and a couple of newlywed portraits before we jumped in the car and headed to their home in St Ives.
Sam and Kevin didn’t want to make much fuss, they were so humble, they were happy for me to photograph on the grass outside the house where there was some amazing dappled light and shadows underneath the trees.
Inside their family waited for the cutting of the cake and a good old cup of tea.
Sam & Kevin you’ve been together since you were young and I hope that you have plenty more great years ahead.
Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your big day together x.
To all couples, brides, grooms; don’t let the coronavirus spoil your big day plans, adapt and I know your chosen photographer will still capture the moments, memories and dreams for you............even if it's through a window!
