Essex Christening Photographer | Oscar's Baptism | Hatfield Broad Oak | Ben Chapman Photos

It was great to be in Hatfield Broad Oak again.

It had been 2 years since I'd last photographed there; another baptism.

Another baptism for the same family; It's brilliant to be asked to document another milestone for a previous client. It's great to catch up with them and document their next stage in life.

Previously I'd photographed Rebecca & John's daughter Amelia's baptism and this time I was photographing her baby brother Oscar's baptism.

We were back at the same church; The church of St Mary The Virgin in Hatfield Broad Oak.

It was a celebration full of happy faces.

Nat was with me 2nd shooting and assisting; he did an awesome job of capturing candid's in and around the church.

Reverend Dawn was lovely to work with; letting us walk and photograph where we liked as long as we were photographic ninjas (my words).

The celebration party afterwards was held in the Hatfield Broad Oak Village Hall; a bright space perfect for a celebration.

It also had the coolest tree sculpture/chair going; I just had to use it for some portraits of Oscar.

Definitely a great Sunday afternoon!
