The Pheasant Hotel, Kelling, Norfolk Wedding Photography
A windy and wet wedding day in Norfolk?
Don’t worry about the weather, grab a brolly and let’s go walking on the beach.
Seriously though, as a Norfolk wedding photographer I photograph my share of wet weddings, it’s all part of the challenge.
Julie & Craig’s big day started at The Pheasant Hotel in Kelling.

As I pulled into the drive way I could see Craig’s RS6 sitting proudly in front of the hotel in ribbons.
Right I must get over that car!
Julie and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the Pheasant room. Hair was styled by Amie of Gemma Holiday Hair Artistry.
Julie did her own make up and this is something I’m so happy about. When I saw this shot coming together I was a happy Norfolk Wedding Photographer.
It was soon time for the dress and the drive over to the church.
Always a proud supporter of his Forest!
I was looking forward to this wedding and working with Arrive Vintage. At least once a year I exhibit at the Springfields Cupid’s Wedding Show and I’m often at a stand next to them. It was great to catch up with Donna & Stuart.
We all squeezed into Daisy the 1965 Karmann Beetle Convertible and then the heavens opened and the winds blew.
But right there in that little beetle Craig and Julie stayed dry and happy.
What the other cars on the road must have thought when they see the brolly sticking up and out of the car as we cruised down the country lanes on the way to the beach.
We made our way to Weybourne beach.
Julie and Craig were up for having some fun and we’re excited to use the boats and machinery in the photos.
What I didn’t know until we were across the windswept beach back to the car was that Julie wasn’t wearing any shoes; hardcore woman!
Back at the Pheasant it was time for the the wedding breakfast and speeches.
And then for the 1st dance with the sounds supplied by musician Steve Young.
Always funny!
Thank you Craig and Julie, the new Mr and Mrs Prescott for being such fun on your big day x
