Ben & Melissa got married
It was a busy weekend!
Friday began at Melissa’s parents for the prep. I arrived before the girls got home from the hairdressers so I had time for chat with Brad & Tom and met the dogs.
Upon their return, I then started to try my hardest to catch a smile on Candy’s face, oh well an eating shot is much funnier.
Tunes were playing, a couple of glasses of bubbly and it was time for the dress.
It’s shots like this that really make Bridal Prep worth it.
Gorgeous!
Over at Whaplode Manor Ben was waiting patiently for his bride.
Melissa arrived in her favourite car.
Whaplode Manor has featured in my weddings blogs before, go and have a look, so here’s a quick description of the venue;
Yeah it’s good!
Visit their site and go and look round for yourself.

I’m sure you’ll love it.
The good thing about civil ceremonies is that they’re generally done quite quickly and everyone can start to party early.
Whoops! LOL!
Ben & Melissa supplied me with a 3 course meal. Prawn Cocktail, beef and a cheese cake. Very nice and I heard no complaints from the guests either. Another reason to check out Whaplode Manor as a venue for your big day.
There was lots of laugher during the speeches. I promise!
After the wedding breakfast I took the newly weds and the bridesmaids out the front for some photo fun.
Photographing weddings in summer can be an interesting challenge. But get it right and the shots will be amazing!
Jamie Moore supplied the disco and he did a great job of getting the dance floor busy.

What a scorcher. A hot day and a hot couple.
There was good weather and good times. Banter and beer for all.
Everyone made me feel part of the crowd which made my job easy of catching the fun.
Thank you Ben & Melissa, the new Mr & Mrs Dye.
Your images are ready and waiting for you to arrive home from your honeymoon.
